What is the difference between the samsung galaxy note 2 and the samsung galaxy s3?

Q. I already know that the samsung galaxy note 2 has the s pen and a bigger screen.

A. the note 2 (in the US) also has a quad-core processor vs the S III's dual-core
and better battery life

the international versions both had quad-core processors, but wasn't quite as fast (note 2 was 1600mhz, vs the S III's 1400mhz)

I saw that ad for the new Samsung Galaxy S3 with the two people playing a game on their phones and the old lady says "You like to whine" and all I want to know is the name of the game they're playing. It looks like a lot of fun. I have searched everywhere for the answer but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Please if anyone knows tell me!

How to uninstall and remove cyanogen mod 10 for the samsung galaxy s3?
Q. Help, i just installed and flash the cyanogenmod 10 jelly bean 4.1.1 for my galaxy s3. But i wanted to return to touchwiz. How do i reverse this?

A. 1.) Reboot into recovery and restore a nandroid backup.
2.) (if you did not make a backup before flashing) go to your local xda-developers.com and find your phone and download a touchwiz or a stock rom and then boot into recovery and flash that.

How long should I charge my Samsung Galaxy Note II for the first time?

Q. How long should the initial charge be? I have been charging it for at least 2 hours and 15 minutes. How much left should I keep it on charge until I turn it on? It is currently at 100%.

A. if its at 100% it won't charge any more, you can stop charging it
smartphones are smart chargers, when they hit 100% they stop the charge process.

How much does it usually cost to reset my galaxy note or any other phone?
Q. Theres some problem with it and might need to be resetted at the official samsung shop.. how much does it usualy cost?

A. nothing

you just hold down the one of the volume buttons and turn on the phone, it will prompt you if you want to do a factory reset.

What phone has the most sales out of the Galaxy Note 2 and Iphone 5?
Q. Just wondering what phone has sold the most and exactly what phone is a the the top of the market right now.

A. i think the best phone out there is galaxy note 2

What is better to use iphone 5 or blackberry?

Q. So I'm planning to buy iphone 5 or blackberry. But the problem with blackberry is that after a while it starts to hang up often & it gets so annoying. I have had 3 blackberry's in the past, but only because its poor system I dont like it otherwise its keypad and everything is good. So I dont know now like which one to use. What blackberry u guys recommend & which one is the latest/best one? Also how's iphone 5?

Please let me know. Tips/advices are welcome!

How do I remove movies from iPhone 5 without deleting it from iTunes?
Q. I bought a couple of movies off of my phone's iTunes. I want to remove them from my phone because they take up too much data, but I'd like to go back in the future and add one of them back on to watch. So the question is, how do I remove movies from iPhone but keep them on my iTunes?

A. Swipe to the right or left with the film selected on your iPhone. This removes it from your iPhone but not from your iTunes library. If you delete a rented film, this will permanently remove it from your account and it cannot be re-downloaded on to your computer.

How is the iPhone 4s different from the iPhone 3gs?

Q. I had the 3gs up until it broke and just saved enough to replace it with the 4s... What are some main differences that I can expect (besides cosmetic differences)?

A. Siri new updates tweakes (glitching fixes ) more stable updated etc

How does your iPhone 4s internet works with a prepaid sim?
Q. I just bought an iPhone 4s but I don't want to start an subscribstion(abbonement, don't really know how to say it in english).
Can I just buy an prepaid sim for it? And how will it work? Do I have to buy a certain amount of credit every month? Or buy a special iPhone prepaid sim if that exist?
I live in the Netherlands btw.

A. You should be able to. It depends on what type of plan you get how exactly it will work. Some plans require you to pay a certain ammount every month as if you had a contract (subscription) only you can stop any time. These plans can also include data so that you can get on the internet depending on how much you want to spend a month. If not you can still get on the internet but only when in range of a wifi network which I did for years and worked fine.

Some will have you put money on it and charge you per minute, text message sent, and megabyte of internet page you load which is generally more expensive than the first way. A regular prepaid sim will not fit in an iphone however as it takes a mini sim. If they dont sell them at the store I believe you can have someone "cut" your sim down to size for you.

What features of iphone 4s will work after the contract expires?
Q. i'm planning to buy a iphone 4s that comes at $199. So i was wondering what features will work after the initial contract expires? I live in india but i will be visiting US in a few days, so i was thinking of buying the phone in US as it is a little cheap. I dont plan to use it as a phone for long, i just want to use it s features. So if anyone could tell me what features would work after the contract expires?

A. You can do exactly the same on every iphone 4S it doesn't matter if its under contract or not!
What does makes a difference is if its jailbroken or not! and for the time being Its impossible to jailbreak an iphone 4S with the latest firmware (5.1)

$199 is the price under contract which you won't be able to get if you are not a US resident.

How do I prevent my Samsung Galaxy S3 from disabling mobile data, when it goes into sleepy mode?

Q. I use my Samsung Galaxy S3 as a mobile wireless hotspot for my laptop. The problem is, when the phone goes to sleepy mode, it disables the mobile data, therefore I lose the connection to the internet on my laptop? How do I keep the mobile data active even though the phone goes to sleepy mode? Thanks.

A. Keep it from going into sleepy mode, by setting the screen timeout to the longest setting, and touching the screen once in a while. Keep it plugged in so the battery doesn't run out. If you need mobile data on your laptop that much, maybe you should get a 3g or 4g adapter instead of using the phone.

How long should I charge a Samsung galaxy s3 for the first time?
Q. I have been trying to figure out how long to charge this phone for the first time but keep getting different answers. Some say completely drain the charge it comes with then charge for 8 hours but others say dont even turn it on just charge it for insane amounts of time. I just want to do the right thing because i want this phone to last so if you dont know for sure please dont answer. Im hopefully looking for someone who talked to Samsung itself because i dont know how and dont want to pay money to get an answer from their question website. Thank you.

A. This has nothing to do with Samsung but rather lithium ion batteries in general. From what I understand, you charge it all the way up (no insane amounts of time, just till it says full) and do not charge it until it is screaming for you to plug it in. You have to do this for 3 cycles as it establishes the "memory" for the battery. After 3 cycles you can pretty much do as you please.

BTW This holds true for laptop batteries as well. A lot of the reason they go bad is because a lot of people never unplug them and therefore the battery never cycles.

How do you turn on email notifications on samsung galaxy s3?
Q. Can anybody help me find how to turn ON email notifications on my smasung galaxy s3. The email does not refresh automatically, only when i enter the email app. Please help me!

A. Try deleting your email account then go into the icon labeled, "Email" again. You set it up (username and password). It checks for incoming and outgoing servers. It should bring you to a page where it gives you an option to be notified when your email arrives every hour, 5 minutes, etc. You can choose how often you want to be notified.

How do I use google voice/gmail phone on my samsung galaxy note 2?

Q. I can use the free phone provided by gmail on my laptop, but when I sign on to my gmail account via galaxy note 2, it doesn't give me the phone icon to make calls. What do I need to do?

A. Galaxy Note 2 is android, if memory serves......Download the "Google Voice" app from the PlayStore.

A. It will fit in your jeans back pocket. It could be in the front pocket but it will stick out and become uncomfortable when you sit down. In your back pocket it will also stick out a bit, but it won't fall out of anything.

Is an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 2 compatible with a chinese service provider SIM card in China?

Q. I am thinking about buying a Note 2 for my father, who works in China. I am just worried that it might not be compatible with the service providers in China. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A. Hi, any unlocked phones, device are acceptable in any carrier and network. Unlocked means your device are no longer stays in one network, it opens to all network. If you are using in China or any areas, just buy a simcard there, and a temporary number for use locally. It may nort be able to tranmit emails, browse the web, however, for voice and text should not carry an issue. Web browsing, internet must go with a plan. So, no worry, go ahead buy a simcard there when you are in China.

What are pros and cons of galaxy note vs galaxy s3?
Q. I'm getting a new phone in two weeks and am ditching my iPhone 4S. I generally only use my phone for Internet and texting. Almost never talk as a phone. I Skype quite a bit and like to watch movies. I'm leaning more toward the Note but would like to hear from people who actually own the phones not paid tech sites.

A. Hi, I own a Galaxy note and am looking to upgrade to the Galaxy S3.
Personally, it's great for watching videos, but it heats up after awhile and that's not really appealing, and with the upgraded core in the Galaxy S3 system I suppose the heating would be reduced? Also, the watching video while texting is also a huge pro if your looking to skype while watching videos which I do occasionally.
I would say get a Galaxy S3.. The Next Big thing is already here! :)

A. Depends if it's white or black, and what's the storage capacity.
