how often should i delete by browsing history and cache on my android 4.0 phone and windows 8 laptop?

Q. I want to make my browsing experience as fast as possible and I'm not fussed about privacy because my phone is pattern protected and my laptop is password protected. In addition, I have plenty of free space on my laptop and android phone.

So cache is there to speed up my browsing experience but after a while can it slow it down if not cleared. In addition I have heard that keeping the cache can save on mobile data costs because its loading some of the website from memory.

What about cookies and history, is there any point deleting them?

A. Your phone and laptop will automatically clear these folders when it needs more space.

Hope this helps

Windows 8 Phone:Does anyone have the 3g icon when connected to wifi?
Q. Am i using 3g when connected to Wifi? It certainly looks like it!

A. all phones that have Mobile data (3G or 2G) and wifi connected at the same time,
will use the Wifi in preference - as it is cheaper.
if the wifi is lost, it falls back and uses the mobile data.

but you have to have an indicator that tells you if 3G or 2G is available
not least because normal calls and texts still go over 3G (it is not only data).

Is it possible to change the audio track from Russian to English on a Samsung Galaxy Note?
Q. Is it possible to change the audio track from Russian to English on a Samsung Galaxy Note? both languages are encrypted to the video but Russian is the primary one.. Can you change it on a Samsung Galaxy Note?
Either that or least help me to be able to remove the Russian one via computer?

A. What player are you using? For instance, in BS Player (ANDROID version) there is an option (if you click/tap on 'settings' while watching a movie) to switch between the two languages ("audio", then a list apears with all the sound traks to select from). Alas, it can't remember this, so if you pause and then restart a movie, you'll have to redo the switching.
I think MX Player is able to remember the setting.
For removing unwanted audio track on PC, see here: http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1045298&postcount=3

Is the iphone 5 graphics proceser better then the one in the samsung galaxy note 2?
Q. I know the note 2 is a beast of a phone but is the graphics proceser better then the one on the iphone 5?

A. Yes. The graphics processor of iPhone 5 is significantly more powerful than the Galaxy Note 2.

Check this link "http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_ii-review-824p5.php"

"Moving on to GPU scores, we skip NenaMark 2 as most phones hit the 60fps limit and take a look at GLBenchmark instead. We ran the offscreen Egypt tests in versions 2.1 and 2.5 (720p and 1080p respectively).
Mali-400 is starting to age but it's still good enough to push out 720p graphics (the Note II's native resolution) at breakneck speeds. 1080p proves too much for it and while it beats the Galaxy S III (which also uses Mali-400) and the GeForce-packing Tegra 3 (almost two times), the Galaxy Note II still looses to Adreno 320 in the Optimus G and PowerVR SGX 543MP3 in the iPhone 5."

Can you use a Microsoft Windows Phone 8 as a modem with laptop which has windows 7?
Q.

A. You can use any Windows Phone running 7.5 or higher as a wi-fi hotspot provided you have a data plan that supports it. Your laptop will need a wireless internet adapter which, I cannot imagine it wouldn't already have.

Should i get the samsung galaxy s3 or wait for the iphone 5s?

Q. I really like the s4 and its feature but the only 2 reasons I want the iphone 5s is because its a lot easier to use and secondly its even easier to get free apps.

If you owe a s4, could you tell me if its too big or not and does it fit in jeans, trouser, smart trouser pockets conformably. Thanks.

A. Go for the S4 you get full HD screen and tons of amazing features and getting free apps on android is so easy. Not sure how you are having problems with that.

How do you remove all of your google contacts from your contacts list on the Samsung Galaxy S3?
Q. I just want to show my contacts that have phone numbers associated with them. At the moment I have over 7000 contacts in the list, but only 300 or so have phone numbers, so I have to scroll through them all to find somebody I can actually call. Any ideas?

A. you can go to your Gmail account and remove contacts there, then it will auto sync.
